Course Description
Action scenes are unique. They are generally fast-paced, energetic, and very plot-focused. But they are much more than a scene in which a lot is happening. If not written carefully, they tend to be moments that are full of activity that doesn’t actually support the story.
This workshop focuses on writing high-energy scenes that also develop the characters and plot. We will look at designing and structuring a scene and then move into how to write one stylistically.
